massage therapist will move at a slower pace and use either light pressure. During a relaxation massage there is less emphasis on working out serious
adhesions or knots in the muscle tissue and the therapist won’t push your pain
limits in order to get the muscle to release. Sometimes people even fall asleep
during a relaxation massage.

Foot Massage
Thai
Foot Massage originated in Thailand about 2000 years ago. The massage starts
with a warm footbath and then continues with light pressure from the
therapist’s fingers, hands and a traditional wooden stick. All parts of the
feet and lower legs are included and involves hands on stretching, massage,
stimulating reflex points and follows the Thai energy lines. There are elements
of Shiatsu, Reflexology and Yoga incorporated in to the massage itself, the massage is finished off with a short shoulder massage.
